Our Favorite Hotel Openings in 2021
You might be surprised, but there are many hotel openings planned this year and here are some of our favorites.
AMAN NEW YORK
Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, Aman New York celebrates Aman's philosophy of creating sanctuaries beyond commonplace notions of luxury, whilst paying homage to the building's striking architecture and significant history. The Crown Building - formerly the first home of Museum of Modern Art - has undergone a monumental transformation, which has seen it fully restored to its original splendour and imbued with the spirit of Aman.

ONE & ONLY PORTONOVI
Montenegro, the land of rugged mountains, medieval villages, and the breathtaking Adriatic coast is the often overlooked Southern neighbor of Croatia. The town of Herceg Novi is in fact only a boat ride away from reaching Croatia through the sun-sparkled seas of Boka Bay. One&Only Portonovi resort is the new addition to this gorgeous Adriatic coastline, dedicated to the riviera lifestyle.

XIGERA IN BOTSWANA
Situated in the western reaches of Botswana’s iconic Moremi Game Reserve, gazing out on the seasonal floodplains of the Okavango Delta, Xigera’s unique location offers unrivalled access to extraordinary safari experiences. Powered by the sun. Plastic-free. Protecting the planet for future generations.

THE TOKYO EDITION
Designed by Kengo Kuma with the vision of Ian Schrager, all 206 guest rooms at The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon offer breathtaking glimpse of Tokyo skyline including views of Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay, as do the first-of-its-kind accommodation with private terraces starting from level 31.

PATINA MALDIVES
Patina Maldives is part of the Fari Islands with two neighbouring islands that share distinctly different energies to form a destination of deep cultural character. Here, socially and environmentally conscious travellers connect through a depth of beauty, creativity and discovery. The evolving spirit of human nature is given stimulus to sustain its momentum in the form of newness, stillness or vital togetherness.
