We were invited by Private Luxury Forum to network and socialize with the people behind unique and hand-picked hotels. Like any industry it is key to know people, and the travel industry is no different.
First let me quickly tell you about my experience in Montenegro. We mostly stuck around the city of Tivat and explored several villages by sail boat and catamaran. While sailing through the Boka Bay we actually passed by the "Black Mountains" which is named after the country, let me spell it out for you: Montenegro= Mount Negro = Black Mountain. The scenery was stunning, open waters and beautiful mountain formations all around. We stopped by the city of Kotor which is an ancient village. Once a strategic point to protect the villages in the bay but now mostly a point of interest with alot of tourists. I would advise to sail past this village and rather dock at other spots such as Perast or Dobrota for a more authentic experience. I don't want to make this post too long of a read, so have a look at the pictures on our instagram account HERE and get in touch if you would like to learn more about where to stay and what to do.
The main reason for our visit to Montenegro was to meet and network with 50+ hotel representatives from around the world. We were able to connect and learn all about their respective destinations and unique hotel properties. Below several ones that stood out!
